  The saddest song you've ever heard

  what is the saddest song that brings tears to your eyes just about every time you hear it?

  Oh brother...you guys are tough!

  Swan..you gave me goosebumps!..My Mother used to sing that same song!

  My Bonnie lies over the ocean!..I forgot all about that one!

  And Sandy..having lost my hubby 2 short years ago..that one really got to me..

  Any sad songs ..I can't handle still.

  Two that I heard when hubby had passed away were:

  "Someday" by Sugar Ray... (You were always there for me)

  "How far is Heaven" by "The Los Lonely Boys"

  Both bring tears to my eyes ..I listen to them to get the tears out..then I put in

  "Cherry Wine" by John Mellencamp to dry my tears...Works every time and I get release for some of my sadness..

  How did you get over your silly fear of demons?

  even now, i still battle with a silly fear of if something might have demons or not...i know it is silly, really, i do, but i haven't been able to get over it completely yet.

  does anyone have any suggetions for me?

  Well..they just took the lady next door to the hospital..(80 years old).

  She was seeing faces come out of the wall..

  Sounds like a B Sci fi movie doesn't it?

  Should I be worried that since she is not home they may start coming over here? Nah.

  People like to play mind games with you and feed on your fears..

  I never believed in spirits..still don't. I am 62..never seen one or heard one.Every story I have heard is always a "Maybe" never a reality. Or it's always something they heard from someone that heard it from someone.. You would think by now something would be around..with all the relatives I have lost..and not one of them came back to say hi!..

  If you believe in them..they will be real to you..if you don't they won't..simple as that.

  Don't believe everything people tell you that "Demons" exist.Just bad people..watch out for them..

  Oh yeah..and mean dogs..bad food...etc....

  What's the best movie of the year (so far?)

  both movies will be high up there once the year ends.

  Why can't I stop crying about losing my job?

  i was there 10 1/2 years.

  it's still bugging me...what can i do to get rid of the blahs!

  Do something besides sitting around!

  Look for another job!..Before you get stuck in a rut.

  In the mean time.....

  Go get a lawnmower and hit the streets..do you know how hard it is to get your grass cut at a nominal fee?

  Go door to door. Hit every house!

  I called many people that promised to show and never did..they are overloaded. Especially the elderly.

  Learn to paint numbers on the curb.

  Hey..I pay $25. to $40. to get my grass cut. Do a few a day and you will probably make more because its tax free..and it puts food on the table!
  Use your head..

  You can do it!..

  And leave your number in case they want it done later.

  So they need a ride to the store? ($5. or $10. bucks)

  Also if the householder gets to talking..offer to do any side jobs for them. You never know!

  What a coincidence!..I was just looking up the Sex Offenders list for mine and surrounding area..I tried Illinois and they really make it hard to view the list..if there really is one!

  I know of one that is in jail in St Charles and yet I couldn't find him on any list!..His wife ran a daycare too!..

  So much for the Sex Offender list!

  Where's all the seagulls?
  Usually they are all over the docks.
  I remember camping... We did it everyweekend and vacations when the kids were little..Our best camping area was Mountain Home arkansas. When we camped many times we were all alone in the campground during the week. The lake was crystal clear and we would scuba dive. It had bluffs and it was beautiful underwater..then we would fish at night (before they warned you not to eat the fish)

  The kids would love to water ski while I cooked up breakfast on the camping stove..what fun we had. Later after the kids grew up and left the nest hubby and I would go canoeing..We went down the Meremac river..that's a scary river!..Lots of currents. So I would make him go to a safe spot where we could swim and fish.

  Got lots of bad sunburns that I am paying for now! Looks good when you get them but sure plays hell on the skin when you get older!

  When we had a sailboat we docked it in a marina..we constantly had to walk around the "Duck poop".

  But we had a potty and a kitchen and a bedroom..even a TV..

  The truth is..The most fun we had was camping in the rough when the kids were little... Yep!

  Thanks for the great picture and thanks for bringing up nice memories for me..

  Well I too had a bug!..started las Sat. today is a week and two days later. And I am finally starting to feel a little better.

  So I am happy!

  BUT.My lawnmower is broke (Riding) and I am on a three week waiting list for it to be looked at!
  I hired a girl down the street two weeks in a row and she only charges $25.00 but she is kinda dunb!

  She never showed up this week and my grass is growing!

  So I called another guy that cut it before and he said sure! I'll be there Monday..well..no show.
  He charges $40. but does an excellent job. Weed eats and blows clippings off the driveway.

  I sure miss hubby!

  I remember you had an airlplane you built. Is it still in one piece?

  I don't know if you live by Illinois but there is a real good flying field over there. There is another one in Valley park..depending on your area..

  Does it still look like Pepto Bismo or did you cover it...

  Hubby was really into RC airplanes before he died.We had a lot of fun!

  ps..The largest he built was 50% scale I believe..that was a big sucker!
